I'm Liking: Lilac Hair

Sigh. Having super dark hair can have its downfalls, such as having to completely frazzle your hair with bleach if you want to dye your hair and have it actually be noticeable! Also, the regrowth is bound to be a hassle! Imagine having to bleach your roots every now and then or deciding for how long you can get away with regrowth until your hair starts looking greasy! 

With that said, I'm really liking the look of lilac hair! Although I'm fully aware that this shade will not suit me, I can't help admiring lilac hair! It's such a pretty colour and I think it looks really cute! I love pastel hair colours in general, and although they can require some serious regular maintenance, I think the reward overcomes it! (but then again I don't have pastel hair!)

Has anyone ever dyed their hair a pastel shade before? What was your original hair colour before, and how much did you have to maintain it? :)
